Hyperlocal nutrition systems for homes, schools and cities. Linkable sprouting stands, under-counter hydroponic cabinets, a jar-swap sprout subscription, and open-source parts the community can print and improve.

MC-MTS

Modular Technical Solutions

Modular technical systems that turn existing structures into productive infrastructure. The first system clips solar panels, micro wind and downpipe water turbines onto construction scaffolding, so building owners recoup scaffolding costs with the energy it produces. The pilot starts in Midtown Manhattan.

The Vision

An international network of living showrooms

Modular Commons is building living showrooms: real places where people can walk through, use and test modular homes, growing systems and power technology as part of everyday life.

Each showroom is run by a local initiative and serves its own community. Every one of them draws on a shared international library of proven solutions, designs and suppliers, and what each community learns goes back into that library, so the next showroom starts further ahead.
